Terms of service

The agreement that governs how you use TransferIQ.

Acceptance

By accessing TransferIQ, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you're using TransferIQ on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these terms.

Acceptable use

TransferIQ is licensed for institutional due diligence on NCAA transfer-portal athletes. You may:

  • Use the dossiers and findings for recruiting evaluation.
  • Share dossier views internally within your organization.
  • Export audit-log data for your compliance records.

You may not:

  • Use TransferIQ for any decision covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) — employment screening, background-check-grade scholarship determinations, etc. — without consulting your counsel about whether your use case requires a CRA-grade provider.
  • Resell, syndicate, or sub-license TransferIQ data to any third party.
  • Use TransferIQ data to harass, intimidate, or otherwise harm any athlete.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.
  • Share login credentials. Each user must have their own account.

Athlete dossiers

Every finding cites a public source. We classify findings using documented engine rules (corroboration floor, tier gating, time-decay weighting). We surface athlete rebuttals alongside the findings they dispute. You agree to interpret findings in context — a “Review Before Proceeding” classification is a prompt for compliance review, not a final verdict.

Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to defeat security controls, harass athletes, or otherwise act inconsistently with the institutional due-diligence purpose of the service.

Liability

TransferIQ provides factual extraction from public sources. We don't guarantee findings are exhaustive, current, or correct for any specific use. You are responsible for decisions made using TransferIQ data. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to active institutional admins by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
